Last week the first image of The Green Lantern movie alien Abin Sur appeared in the background of a still from the film. You could barely make out his deceased body behind the nefarious Hector Hammond.
At Comic-Con, Warner Bros. has revealed that Abin Sur’s body is actually a prop by putting the entire thing, case and all, on display in the exhibition hall. The Green Lantern Corps predecessor of Hal Jordan looks appropriately lifeless, though tucked away in the body is a piece of otherworldly Parallax that will cause Hammond’s brain to grow.
