As the August 18 release date for Disney Infinity continues to draw closer, Disney Interactive is ensuring that Disney’s most ambitious foray in the gaming world gets as much exposure as possible. It seems like we’re getting new assets at an almost daily clip, the latest delving into the game’s Toy Box creation mode.
As with most of the countless previously released trailers, this new one includes several characters and figures that have not been formally announced as of yet. They include Wreck-It Ralph, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Phineas and Ferb. Additional character announcements including Mickey Mouse are expected to take place during Disney’s D23 expo between August 9-11 next month.
As for the Toy Box itself, the game and world creation mode will take some patience to adjust to and take advantage of, especially for younger players. As this video proves, there’s a lot of potential to let imaginations run wild and for Disney characters to collide. Just look at all the Nintendo-inspired levels and games on display.
