Alex Kidd in Miracle World from SEGA Master System headlines this week’s Wii-kly update with new content you can download onto your Wii console.
It’ll cost you 500 Wii Points to download Alex Kidd, the late 80s platformer that was a marquee title for SEGA’s pre-Genesis console. A single player must conquer 16 levels to beat the game.
Also available on the Wii Virtual Console today is Burning Fight from Neo Geo. This 1-2 player game will set you back a cool 900 Wii Points and features side-scrolling melee combat.
Nintendo WiiWare also picked up a new title this week called Gyrostarr. The High Voltage Software produced game costs 700 Wii Points and calls upon 1-4 players to navigate a ship through 50 level of alien forces with either the Wii Nunchuk or classic controller.
