2K Sports has announced 45 additional players are joining the upcoming ‘Legends Showcase’ DLC pack for NBA 2K12 on Xbox 360 and PS3.
‘Legends Showcase’ is a new game mode using a cell-shaded art style set in New York City’s Time Square. It’s full of challenges including 21, H-O-R-S-E, pick-up games, team challenges, 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 play which can be mixed with current and past NBA greats. In addition, you can bring in your user created player to take on the big boys.
The new players, which include “KJ” Kevin Johnson and Dan Majerle to name a few, are all rated to the season in which they played their best year. They will also wear the uniform of that year.
Cell-shading is far less graphic and processor intensive which allows for more players to be easily added. This new collection of players joining the ‘Legends Showcase’ DLC pack will bring the total number of available legends and current players to over 330 when the pack is released.
Look for the ‘Legends Showcase’ DLC pack this holiday season for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 or $9.99 via the Playstation Network for Playstation 3.
