Xbox 360 owners will be pleased to learn that Ubisoft is releasing the playable demo for Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. fighter game will take off tomorrow at 2 a.m. PST, midnight EST.
PS3 owners, however, will have to wait. The H.A.W.X. demo won’t fly near that console until a full 15 days later on February 26.
The demo will offer a training mode and a mission based over Rio De Janeiro which you can see in the screens below (click each thumbnail for a nice high-res version). That mission features jump in/jump out four player co-op play as will be seen in the final retail version.
Other details for the H.A.W.X. demo as well as a cool trailer are as follows.
Gain experience points and unlock up to three real, licensed planes in the demo:
- F-16A Fighting Falcon
- SU-35 SuperFlanker
- AV-8B Harrier II
Choose between two different game modes:
- Normal – Default control type
- Expert – Allows full control over the aircraft in “Assistance Off” mode
Two heart-pounding missions:
- Operation: Off Certification (Training mode) – Learn the skills of an elite pilot in “Assistance Off” mode and pull extreme maneuvers
- Operation: Glass Hammer (Rio De Janeiro) – Take flight over GeoEye technology (the world’s best satellite data), and witness Brazil like never before. Learn to use the Enhanced Reality System in “Assistance On” mode, where your plane’s computer calculates the best interception course for you to follow to attack an enemy, evade a missile, or hit a ground target
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. will arrive in stores on March 5 exclusively on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
