One of the worst kept secrets in Treyarch and Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops game on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC is a new mode called ‘Dead Ops Arcade Mode.’ Every time a site posts a video of said mode in action on the web, Activision has it yanked down faster than you can hit refresh.
The mode is inspired by the popular Zombie Mode where you and your buddies will fend off wave after wave of undead aggressors. Unlike Zombie Mode, Dead Ops is presented in a birds-eye view so you can see 360-degrees around you as the zombies move in for a fleshy snack. The left analog stick will move you around, but the arcade twist is that the right analog stick will be used to fire in all directions.
