Christie Burke is rumored to have been cast to appear as a teenage version of Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. The younger version of Renesmee is being tackled by Mackenzie Foy.
Any one of the millions of Twilight fans who know the books by heart will immediately recognize that Renesee never appeared as a teenager. In taking a page from Harry Potter, scribe Melissa Rosenberg has reportedly written in a flash-forward sequence with a teenage Renesmee and Taylor Lautner getting cozy with one another.
This same scene would also include the entire Cullen clan as they’d appear about 7 or so years into the future.
Burke’s acting credentials are fairly limited. She has appeared in a handful of commercials including one for Wrigley’s, made appearances on Tower Prep and Eureka, and appeared in some other small movie roles. The girl doesn’t even have an IMDB page yet but she’s a looker and matches the direction Summit has gone with Renesmee when compared to Foy.
As of Monday The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn production moved from Louisiana and began in Vancouver where much of the previous three Twilight films were shot. Some of the Breaking Dawn exterior locations have already been photographed.
