Have you been wondering were all the Wii U basic white consoles and Nintendo Land games have gone since both are no longer part of the Wii U console line up? The answer is they’re both teaming up with Activision and Skylanders Swap Force to create the Skylanders Swap Force Wii U Bundle with exclusive Color Shift Wash Buckler figure.
For the same price as the new upcoming Wii U Deluxe bundle with Super Mario Bros. U and Super Luigi U, this bundle includes the white WIi U console; the Skylanders Swap Force Wii U Starter Pack with the game, Ninja Stealth Elf, Blast Zone and exclusive Color Shift Wash Buckler figures; Portal of Power, poster, trading cards and sticker sheet; and the Nintendo Land Wii U game that used to be bundled with the Wii U Deluxe. Nintendo Land costs $30 to buy separately.
The key piece here is the exclusive Color Shift Wash Buckler figure. With this bundle costing $299.99, this figure is going to end up on Ebay selling for an outrageous amount of money when the bundle shows up at retail outlets beginning on November 15.
Exclusive Color Shift Wash Buckler is the second variant for the octopus pirate. A Dark Wash Buckler is available in the $99.99 GameStop exclusive Skylanders Swap Force Dark Edition Starter Pack.
Also note that November 15 is around the time when Skylanders Swap Force wave 3 is expected to begin trickling into stores. We’ll have a post with the expected figures in that wave, which includes Stink Bomb, in the very near future.
