Activision is now only one Skylander toy away from releasing all 32 (not including variants) that are part of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and 3DS.
Over the past 24-48 hours, Skylanders Camo and Warnado began showing up at Walmart stores across North America. They quickly follow the release of Skylanders Lightning Rod and Zook which were released a couple weeks ago as singles and in a three-pack with Cynder. A three-pack containing Camo and Warnado have yet to be spotted in the wild.
Don’t expect to casually walk into Walmart and find a mountain of Camo and Warnado’s to choose from. Skylanders are still the target of resellers who are buying up the newest released ones and quickly flipping them on Ebay, Amazon.com and other websites. The quick release of Camo and Warnado should make it easier to find Lightning Rod and Zook in the coming weeks.
The other relatively new Skylander, Sunburn in the Dragon’s Peak Adventure Pack, remains a Toys R Us exclusive until later this month.
With Camo and Warnado hitting at least one store, the only remaining Skylander not available in North America is Wham Shell. This little guy has been found in Australia and should be making his way stateside sooner rather than later.
