WB Games has finally made the next Scribblenauts game official following a leak several weeks ago that has now obviously been confirmed.
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure is exactly as its name implies, a new Scribblenauts adventure sent within the world of DC Comics. Maxwell will get to mix it up with Batman, Catwoman, Aquaman, and scores of other DC Comics characters, vehicles and settings. This isn’t a DLC pack, either. It’s a full new Scribblenauts game.
Additional details about Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure should come to light as E3 nears early next month. I would expect the game to build upon Scribblenauts Unlimited rather than drop the object creation and editing tools. As the final frame with Maxwell chasing Batman for an autograph suggests, this game should be as funny as it is fun to play.
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will arrive later this year on Wii U, 3DS, and PC. Watch the announcement trailer below.
