Activision has shared a new Prototype gameplay trailer that introduces the different types of missions you’ll undertake in June.
The “Rescue” mission sees protagonist Alex Mercer resembling a combination of two emotionally sensitive superheroes, Hancock and Wolverine, as he jumps around the city with finger claws fully extended chasing a monstrosity.
“Stealth” sees Alex consume and then assume the identity of a commander soldier so he can get behind enemy lines and eventually call an air strike on hapless grunts while taking in the carnage from a nearby rooftop.
“Disable” and “Protect” feature a lot of superhuman-enhanced fighting to get the adrenaline worked up. “Infiltrate” is the big climax with a crazy menagerie of vehicle combat, objects flying through the air and crazy tentacles coming out of the ground.
Look for Prototype in stores on June 9 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
