Nintendo is now offering up to four free Wii Remote Jackets in response to players either accidentally dropping or deliberately chucking their fragile Wii Remotes with devastating results. In addition, the silicone constructed Jackets will be packaged with all new Wii consoles and Wii Play beginning today.
You can secure your Wii Remote Jackets by visiting Wii.com and entering your Wii console serial number. The process is identical to how Nintendo distributed the improved Wii Remote Straps.
The Wii Remote Jackets will begin shipping on October 15.
