Nintendo may be the last press conference at E3 2011 but that doesn’t mean it’s the least. Rumors and anticipation for the house that built Mario are reaching a fevered pitched as the company plans to unveil “Project Cafe,” their new Wii successor that potentially aims to leapfrog both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in terms of horsepower, controller functionality and more.
As with years past, you’ll get to watch Nintendo’s E3 2011 press conference via a live stream from the comfort of your home, work or mobile device. It will beat battling the throngs of media that will be cuing up upward of 2 hours before the conference begins to get a good seat for the show.
I’ll be in attendance at the Nintendo E3 2011 press conference and will report back later with impressions and images of Nintendo’s new console. Will be it called simply “Nintendo?” Or will Nintendo use the development name of “Project Cafe” or dip into the nostalgic bag and pull out “Nintendo Revolution?” We will find out in just a few hours.
