The new Water For Elephants trailer starring Twilight’s Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz debuted exclusively on Amazon.com last night. It became only the second trailer ever to first appear on Amazon following Warner’s The Dark Knight and is already generating quite a bit of buzz.
The film, based on Sara Gruen’s bestselling novel of the same name, stars Pattinson as a man who hops on a circus train for a ride. While on the train he meets and falls for Reese Witherspoon’s character but must contend with Waltz – her husband – for her affection and heart as he discovers his destiny.
Director Frances Lawrence has imbued Water For Elephants with a classical elegance hearkening back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Being no stranger to forbidden love given the Twilight films, Pattinson’s performance should be buoyed working with a pair of Academy Award-Winning co-stars.
Water For Elephants opens in theaters everywhere on April 22.
