As promised, Yahoo! Movies revealed the full trailer for District 9 (as presented by Peter Jackson) that will debut in theaters this Friday attached to Bruno.
What I love about this trailer, aside from the film’s premise and Neill Blomkamp behind it, is that it shows us a glimpse of things we didn’t expect to see in this film. I won’t spoil the surprises but after the trailer you’ll have no choice but to agree. District 9 is a must see movie.
Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa’s District 9 as the world’s nations argued over what to do with them.
