Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Paul Rudd Rumored for Marvel’s Ant-Man Role

Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Paul Rudd Rumored for Marvel's Ant-Man RoleNews on Marvel’s Ant-Man feature film has been relatively nonexistent since the project was confirmed as the first film in the studio’s Cinematic Universe Phase 3 following The Avengers 2. All the Marvel attention has been directed toward every other confirmed Marvel movie.

The lack of Ant-Man movie news doesn’t mean Marvel and co-writer/director Edgar Wright haven’t been hard at work on it. Variety is reporting that Joseph Gordon Levitt and Paul Rudd are currently finalists for the role of Hank Pym aka Ant-Man, with a third actor joining the fray remaining a possibility. The perception amongst the media is that Wright will make his final selection soon and we’ll see an official announcement sooner rather than later.

Earlier today Wright tweeted a comic book image of Ant-Man with the caption “a very good question.” The image shows the red and black hero and asks whether he was the real Ant-Man or not. It only adds more fuel to the fire that an announcement is imminent.
