Electronic Arts has announced a game based on the upcoming Potter sequel Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is currently in development at EA Bright Light Studios.
The game will be made available on every imaginable system including Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Playstation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS, Windows PC, Macintosh and mobile devices.
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, players will have to engage in wizard duels, mix potions in class, and compete in matches. EA hints Ron’s romantic misadventures will also play a role in distracting you the game, though exactly how remains a mystery for now.
Harvey Elliott, Head of EA Bright Light studio in the UK where the Harry Potter franchise has its home, adds the following, “Building on the technological advancements of previous games in the series and with a particular focus on the unique control system of Nintendo’s Wii, the team here is working closely with the filmmakers to create an immersive interactive experience that captures the story, the action, the excitement and, above all, the fun of the film.”
Look for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on store shelves around the film’s theatrical release on November 21.
