Another glimpse into what a live-action Halo film could be like will arrive tomorrow the debut of “Birth of a Spartan,” a new short created to tie into next week’s release of the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta on Xbox 360.
A 60 second version of the ad short will arrive first tomorrow, April 26 at 9PM PDT during the broadcast of V on ABC. It will appear online shortly thereafter and we’ll be posting it here to share.
On Thursday morning, a 2:30 version of the short will be released to Xbox Live Gold Members and you can bet we’ll be sharing that as well.
“Birth of a Spartan” is directed by Noam Murro (Smart People) and follows the final step of Carter 259 as he is transformed from an ordinary person into a Spartan warrior ala Master Chief. Carter plays the team leader in Halo: Reach.
