My heart almost skipped a beat when I opened up the Limited Edition version of ‘Halo 3’ on Saturday. The game disc was loose in the metal tin, and not only that, the back side of the disc had all sorts of scuffs and scratches etched into it. I scrubbed valiantly with a cloth rag and was able to remove some of the scuffs, but several scratches had become a permanent resident.
Thankfully I was able to complete the campaign from beginning to end without any hiccups, and multiplayer modes appeared to run flawlessly as well. You may want to give a little shake to your ‘Halo 3 Limited Edition’ tins before walking out of the store tomorrow.
