Microsoft has dropped the demo for Forza Horizon onto Xbox Live two weeks shy of the game’s full retail release for Xbox 360 on October 23.
The demo takes place across the diverse terrain of Colorado where players will maneuver a variety of cars though several event types. One example is the Horizon Festival where the course starts up high in the Colorado hills on dirt roads, then winds its way down into a street race near the Finley Dam.
In an unusual move, Microsoft and developer Turn 10 Studios are offering an exclusive car only to players who download and play the Forza Horizon online. This car, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS, was specially designed to celebrate the game’s “gone gold” status that signals the completion of development.
