The first image of Ian McShane as Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has arrived via some spy photos from the night shoot Rob Marshall is currently directing in Los Angeles.
According to a tweet from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, people visiting Universal Studios are able to see Pirates 4 shooting from the tram. It’s a good bet that’s how these shots were snapped.
Also seen in the images are Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Penelope Cruz as Angelica, Blackbeard’s daughter.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hits theaters everywhere on May 20, 2011.
