Ubisoft has announced ‘Nitrobike’ will be released this holiday season exclusively on Nintendo Wii. If the name sounds familiar, it should. ‘Nitrobike’ is being developed by Left Field Productions, the same studio responsible for ‘Excitebike 64’ on Nintendo 64.
Ubisoft has released few details thus far but we can tell you what we know. ‘Nitrobike’ will feature rocket-propelled motorcycles racing against the clock, other opponents, or in a “unique” online mode. Why is the online mode “unique?” We simply don’t know yet.
“Ubisoft is thrilled to be introducing the first Motocross game available for Wii,” said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. “Nitrobike’s fun and fast-paced gameplay is sure to be a hit for Wii owners for the holiday season.”
