Nintendo had a couple tricks up its sleeve this E3, but none more welcoming than the introduction of a new gun accessory. Dubbed the ‘Zapper,’ this gun shell serves as the housing for a Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk that when combined form a sweet-looking rifle accessory.
This modern version of the original Nintendo Light Gun will come pre-packaged with unspecified software to take advantage of the Zapper. Other games are currently in development for Zapper support including ‘Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles’ from Capcom, ‘Ghost Squad’ from SEGA, and a new ‘Medal of Honor’ title from EA.
The Zapper is expected to hit stores sometime before the end of the year.
