The established gaming franchise Carnival Games is graduating to the big leagues in Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do, the first entry in 2K Play’s motion-based gaming series that will be available on Kinect for Xbox 360.
Unlike past versions of Carnival Games designed for Nintendo Wii or DS, Monkey See, Monkey Do was built from the ground up to take advantage of Kinect’s full-body motion tracking capabilities.
Gamers will access the variety of Carnival Games via one of five alleyways. Some of the games will be all-new to the franchise such as a batting cage, Hot Air Balloon Race and Rocket to Mars. Others were featured in past Carnival Games but have been reworked for Kinect controls. They include Milk Bottle Throw, Wheel of Chance and Alley Ball.
One new game, The Amazing Wodin, will use voice recognition to advise players of their future. Another with the Monkey Barker will put players’ dance skills to the test.
Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do will be available exclusively for Xbox 360 Kinect this April.
