Amazon.com’s collection of recent release video games are all part of a Black Friday 2012 Lightning Deal that begins at 8:09pm EST. Some of the most popular video games released within the past one to two months are heavily discounted in these deals, but there are also expected to sell through extremely fast.
Skylanders Giants for Wii is sure to be one of the hotter deals as it is expected to be discounted to below $40. That’s for the full Starter Pack, too, that comes with the Portal of Power, Tree Rex Giant figure, Cynder Series 2 figure, and Jet-Vac figure.
Sports fans will find NBA 2K, Madden NFL 13, FIFA Soccer 13, and NCAA Football 13 on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 for only $25 each. If I had to guess, NBA 2K13 will be the first to sell out at that killer price.
Last year’s Battlefield 3 for Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 will also be priced at $25, as will Just Dance 4 for Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii.
One of the pricier deals is the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection for Xbox 360 at $99.99. This set usually sells for just over $120 so it’s around 15 percent off.
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops LTO Edition will be on sale for only $15. Sorry, no Black Ops 2 deals, at least not yet.
Last but certainly not least, the Playstation 3 250GB bundle with Uncharted and inFamous will see its price drop from $299 to $199, the Amazon equivalent of a doorbusters deal. Expect this one to sell like hotcakes.
