LucasArts spent years and countless dollars developing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to be the best Star Wars game ever.
While critical reaction to the game has been lukewarm, consumers have packed up LucasArts’ assertion by purchasing more than 1.5 million copies of the game for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and other platforms in less than a week.
At its current pace, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will become the best selling Star Wars game of all-time. Better than Rogue Squadron, LEGO Star Wars, Tie Fighter; you name it.
More than 4.3 million copies of the game shipped to stores for all platforms so there are plenty more out there to be scooped up. Had the game included a multiplayer component to extended gameplay value we might be looking at 2 million copies sold already.
