More Alien: Isolation How to Survive trailers has crawled out of the darkness to once again depict ill-fated attempts by Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, to survive a one-on-one encounter with a Xenomorph within the confines of a spaceship.
In the most recent trailer, Amanda encounters the Xenomorph after picking it up on her motion tracker. She tries to lock it in one room, but then the Xenomorph opens a door and is able to take Amanda down in the next room.
In another trailer, Amanda creates a distraction for the alien to buy herself a few extra moments of life. That pesky Xenomorph gets the jump on her anyway.
Today’s new trailer brings the total number of Alien: Isolation How to Survive trailers to six. I’ve assembled them at a single collection below so you can watch Amanda Ripley bite the dust and return Groundhog Day-style for another failed attempt to survive.
Here’s the game’s official synopsis, “Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game capturing the fear and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”
We are closing in on the Alien: Isolation October 7 release date on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.
