Marvel today published high resolution images from their upcoming Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger films. In total there are two images from Thor and seven from Cap, all of which are viewable below.
The Thor images have never been released before though you might recognize the scenes from either of the film’s trailers. They both feature Natalie Portman which is no accident. Marvel and Paramount are locked in on her bid to score a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Black Swan. If she wins, and she’s the easy favorite, then expect Portman to be pushed as heavily in advertisements as the God of Thunder himself.
The Captain America images featuring Chris Evans were all previously released via the physical edition of Empire Magazine so we were only privy to scans. These new versions are not only cleaner but larger which makes them definitely worth checking out.
