Europeans won’t be the only ones getting their kicks on this fall as Konami has finally *officially* announced Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is coming to North America on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, PSP and the PC. As if there was ever any doubt.
The Pro Evolution series has lost some of its luster over the past couple years due to lazy updates while EA’s once dogged FIFA series has steadily picked up steam.
Konami looks to return to their winning ways of old with “a stunning graphical update to ensure its players look more like their real-life counterparts” and “all-new options allow users to tailor the game to their own tastes, while new stylish moves, innovative control schemes and key online elements further the realism.”
