Bethesda Softworks laughed in the face of April Fools and sent over 17 mouthwatering screenshots from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that are no joke.
These screens give a good idea of the wide canvas game director Todd Howard and his team are working on in Skyrim. Environments will range from snow covered mountains to dark caves to blissful woods with streams. In some areas, dragons are at the top of the food chain.
One of the new screens is a first look at a Skills Menu that reveals Alchemy, Illusion, Conjuration, Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, Enchanting, and pieces of others that were cut off on the edges for a Dark Elf character. From this we can tell the menus will use an astrological theme.
New The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC on November 11. Click any of the screenshot thumbnails below to open the high resolution version.
