Nintendo has released 9 new screenshots from Mario Kart 7, one of the big holiday releases the company hopes will inject some life into the struggling portable gaming device.
The screens highlight some of the new features touched upon in the recently released second Mario Kart 7 trailer. Racers will be able to switch to a first-person perspective, choose rides best suited for certain types of terrain, take flight, and drive underwater. There’s also what looks to be a black-and-white Mario, but I’m not sure what the significance of that is.
