First ‘Alpha Protocol’ PS3, Xbox 360 Screens

SEGA has released the first screenshots from their upcoming new action-RPG title, Alpha Protocol, now available below for your viewing pleasure.

The screens will immediately draw comparisons to BioWare’s Mass Effect due to highly detailed environments and expressive character models. Since we don’t know much about how these characters will interact with another and their environments, the comparisons will have to end there until more information trickles out.

Alpha Protocol is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, known for Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights 2. It is expected to build on those games with faster combat, new innovative RPG features, and next-gen visuals.

You won’t find Alpha Protocol in stores until early 2009, when it will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. According to SEGA, stay tuned for more Alpha Protocol updates in the “near future.”
