One of my personal favorite under-appreciated Xbox 360 games is being given a much-deserved followup.
Ubisoft has announced Techland, the development house behind Call of Juarez on Xbox 360 and the PC, are hard at work on a prequel titled Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
The prequel transports gunslingers away from Georgia to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. Here a new story surrounding the McCall brothers will unfold with all the backstabbing, double-crossing, greed, prostitutes and arrogance that made the first game impossible to put down.
Ubisoft did not release an official screenshot with this announcement but did release the first character render which you can browse in high resolution below. I’m hyped to fire up my six shooter again already.
