Atari has released nine additional PS3 and Xbox 360 screenshots for The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf. The popular PC franchise is being rebuilt from the ground up for consoles, pixel-by-pixel.
As with the first batch of screens that accompanied the game announce this past December, everything you see is being rendered by the in-game engine. Developer CD Projekt RED is making sure all of the detailed scenery and dynamic lighting successfully leaps from the PC to console version.
In The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf, based on the universe created by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, players step into the role of professional monster slayer Geralt who uses his witcher training to avenge an attack on an outcast brotherhood of witchers.
Atari expects The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf for PS3 and Xbox 360 to arrive in stores this fall.
