Things are certainly looking bright for the team behind Cobra Kai and its fans. Rhe series has been renewed for Season 5 despite Season 4’s premiere months away in December.
Production on Season 5 gets underway in Atlanta this fall so pre-production is likely well underway. The release date should land sometime in 2022.
It is still too early to know who will be returning and who might be joining the cast for Season 5. Shooting will be months old by the time Season 4 plays out on our screens.

There’s the possibility this series has many more years of new material yet to mine with Cobra Kai’s popularity and continued build-up of the Karate Kid’s next generation of heroes and villains.
