Watch ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 1 Episode 8 Finale Online

The long nine-day wait for The Mandalorian Season 1 finale on Disney Plus has counted down to zero. Will Baby Yoda be saved from the clutches of Imperial remnants in Episode 8, or will newly introduced Moff Gideon ride off into the sunset with his valuable “asset”?

Chapter 8 will feel like a slightly late Christmas gift when it arrives to stream via the Disney Plus app or website sometime around midnight ET or shortly thereafter early Friday, December 27th. Find out how to watch The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 8 online for free, and the complete first season for that matter.

Disney+ Free Trial

Disney is thankfully still offering a 7-day free trial of Disney+ that will allow you to quickly register an account and watch all eight episodes of The Mandalorian plus other shows/movies on the platform. With the holidays in full swing viewers can cram in a lot of watching into seven days.

Once the trial is complete, you can decide whether to pay $6.99 a month to continue with Disney+ or cancel and pay absolutely nothing. Given the inexpensive price and great content that continues to grow each month, plus Season 2 of The Mandalorian in 2020 and other Disney Originals including Marvel’s first Cinematic Universe television shows, most folks opt to signup and enjoy the hottest new streaming platform around.

Disney is also offering a longer term annual option for $69.99 a year that drops the price down to $5.84 a month, over a dollar a month less than going month-to-month.

Disney+ Hulu ESPN+ Bundle Free Trial

There is also a $12.99 a month bundle option that includes Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. This deal is fantastic and many folks have already jumped in with both feet and endless hours of streaming options after completing the 7-day free trial of Disney+.

If you already have a Hulu account then you will receive a bill credit for each month that you’re subscribed to the bundle deal.

Gift Disney+ to a Friend

New for this holiday season is an option to send a friend a Disney+ Gift Subscription Card good for a full year’s subscription. The price of the Disney+ Gift Subscription Card is $69.99.

These Disney+ Gift Subscription Cards are digital so you can surprise a friend or family member with a full year of streaming goodness dropped right into their inbox. Note that the Disney+ Gift Subscription Cards are only valid for Disney+, not the bundle listed above.

Look for the Disney+ app to show up on a variety of devices including Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles; LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, and Amazon Fire boxes and Fire Sticks.

You’ll need to install the latest update to have the Disney+ app appear after registering your free trial and account.

The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 8 Preview

The Season 1 end game has begun. In Chapter 7, Mando reluctantly agreed to a ruse with Greef that would eliminate the Client and threat to Baby Yoda once and for all.

With the assistance of Kuiil and Cara Dune, Mando sets off with Greef and three Guild members to the heart of Navarro. The plan is to infiltrate the Client’s office with Baby Yoda as the bait, then Mando will blast the Client and be done with it.

However, a double-cross and far more Imperial remnant forces throw those plans awry. Moff Gideon, a new character arrives and blasts the Client and his troops. With Mando, Cara and Greef pinned down, a pair of Biker Scouts intercept Kuiil, presumably kill him, and take Baby Yoda.

The Chapter 7 cliffhanger was brutal and emotional. We know Mando and his crew will blast their way out, but we could also end up in a situation where Baby Yoda is whisked away by Imperials with the Season 2 setup being the hunt for the little guy.

Pay close attention to the trailer below and you’ll see several scenes from The Mandalorian Season 1 finale.

Here’s the complete schedule for The Mandalorian Season 1 Episodes 1-8. Season 2, currently deep into production, is expected to premiere around this time in 2020.
