Watch ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 1 Episode 7 Online

The most wonderful time of the year is delivering an early gift. Rather than wait a full week to stream Episode 7 of The Mandalorian, you get to watch it two full days earlier on Wednesday, December 18th, thanks to the arrival of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in theaters on the 20th. Oh, and there’s a preview of that film after The Mandalorian credits roll.

The downside is the wait for Chapter  8, the Season 1 finale, is two days longer as a result.

Chapter 7 will available to stream via the Disney Plus app or website sometime around midnight ET or shortly thereafter. Find out how to watch The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 7 online for free if you haven’t already joined the growing stable of Disney+ subscribers.

Disney+ Free Trial

Disney is still offering a 7-day free trial of Disney+ that will allow you to quickly register an account and watch as much of The Mandalorian and other shows/movies on the platform that can be humanly crammed into a single week.

Once the trial is complete, you can decide whether to pay $6.99 a month to continue with Disney+ or cancel and pay absolutely nothing. Given the inexpensive price and great content that continues to grow each month, plus future The Mandalorian episodes and other Disney Originals including Marvel’s first Cinematic Universe television shows to come in 2020, most folks opt to signup and enjoy the hottest new streaming platform around.

Disney is also offering a longer term annual option for $69.99 a year that drops the price down to $5.84 a month, over a dollar a month less than going month-to-month.

Disney+ Hulu ESPN+ Bundle Free Trial

There is also a $12.99 a month bundle option that includes Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. This deal is fantastic and many folks have already jumped in with both feet and endless hours of streaming options after completing the 7-day free trial of Disney+.

If you already have a Hulu account then you will receive a bill credit for each month that you’re subscribed to the bundle deal.

Gift Disney+ to a Friend for Christmas

New for the holidays is an option to send a friend a Disney+ Gift Subscription Card good for a full year’s subscription. The price of the Disney+ Gift Subscription Card is $69.99.

These Disney+ Gift Subscription Cards are digital so you can surprise a friend or family member with a full year of streaming goodness dropped right into their inbox. Note that the Disney+ Gift Subscription Cards are only valid for Disney+, not the bundle listed above.

Look for the Disney+ app to show up on a variety of devices including Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles; LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, and Amazon Fire boxes and Fire Sticks.

You’ll need to install the latest update to have the Disney+ app appear after registering your free trial and account.

The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 7 Preview

In Chapter 6 of The Mandalorian titled ‘The Prisoner’, the tired bounty hunter and his new undersized companion visited an old friend from a life left behind.

The episode played like a mashup of Ocean’s Eleven, Reservoir Dogs, and Predator as Mando teamed up with four sketchy mercenaries to break out another mercenary from a New Republic prison transport.

The episode was a little light on Baby Yoda, who really didn’t make much of an appearance or do much until the final act. However, director Rick Famuyiwa — who also directed ‘The Child’, was able to inject a lot of suspense into the roughly 40-minute run time.

By episode’s end a series of double-crosses left Mando and Baby Yoda right where they’ve been the past three episodes, taking off from one place and headed to whereabouts unknown. Only now Mando has the sizable reward from completing the heist job and will hopefully put that money to good use.

The official Disney and Lucasfilm synopsis for Chapter 7 reads, “An old rival extends an invitation for The Mandalorian to make peace.” Expect Giancarlo Esposito to make his debut as Grand Moff Gideon in this episode.

Deborah Chow, who directed Chapter 3 ‘The Sin’, is back behind the camera for Chapter 7. She, Dave Filoni and Famuyiwa cameo’d as the three New Republic X-Wing pilots at the conclusion of Chapter 6.

Here’s the complete schedule for The Mandalorian Season 1 Episodes 1-8 for the remainder of 2019.
