THQ has announced a new program starting today where retailers will distribute playable demos of ‘WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2008’ for Xbox 360 to anyone who pre-orders the game. The same demo won’t be available for free download on Xbox Live Marketplace until October 15. No mention is made of whether a Playstation 3 demo will arrive before the game ships next month.
The ‘WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2008’ playable demo for Xbox Live Marketplace will allow players to experience exhibition match play using the RAW, SmackDown and ECW arenas. Superstars Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Undertaker and Randy Orton are available for battle in either single player or two-player, head-to-head gameplay. Throughout the demo, players can sample several of the game’s new features, including Superstar Fighting Styles and the Struggle Submission System.
