The original Space Invaders as it appeared on Super NES headlines four new Wii Virtual Console and WiiWare games made available for download today.
Original Space Invaders for the Virtual Console costs 800 Wii Points and supports 1-2 players. Multiple modes simulate different versions of the arcade game (i.e. upright cabinet or black-and-white) while a new versus mode lets two players go head-to-head.
Also new to Virtual Console is Forgotten Worlds from the SEGA Genesis. The side-scrolling shooter from Capcom also costs 800 Wii Points and supports 1-2 players.
WiiWare’s new additions include Strong Bad Episode 4: Dangeresque 3, a 1-player game costing 1000 Wii Points, and Target Toss Pro: Bags, an up to 16-player game based on tossing bean bags that costs 700 Wii Points.
