Walmart Black Friday Ad: Games and Movies Deals Galore

One of 2010’s first Black Friday ads to be leaked came from one of the big shopping day’s most popular destinatons: Walmart. Within their massive ad are quite a few home entertainment deals you Black Friday early bird shoppers might want to be aware of.

A number of Blu-ray players will be on sale at Walmart on Black Friday including a Magnavox player for $69 (cheapest I’ve ever seen one), the Sony BDP-S270 and LG BD550 for $94, the Samsung BD-C6500 for $138, and the Sony BDP-S570 for $158. That Magnavox entry level player is profile 2.0 compliant with BD-Live capability.

Now for some movies to feed those Blu-ray players. The cheapest Walmart is going on movies for Black Friday is $5 with a selection that includes Angels and Demons, Armored, Batman Begins, Gran Torino, Ice Age, Legion, Live Free or Die Hard, Night At The Museum Battle of the Smithsonian, The Mummy, Superbad, and The Dark Knight. Blu-ray details in the $10 category are sprinkled with some newer releases: Get Him To The Greek, Hot Tub Time Machine Unrated, Invictus, all three The Lord of the Rings films sold individually, Marmaduke, Paranormal Activity, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Shes Out Of Your League, Taken, Terminator Salvation, The Back-Up Plan, The Blind Side, The Boondock Saints, The Bounty Hunter, The Hangover, The Karate Kid, The Wizard of Oz, and Wolfman.

In video games, Walmart has tacked an some unspecified bonus to the Xbox 360 4GB console ($199), the PS3 160GB console ($299) and the Wii Limited Edition red value bundle ($249). The Nintendo DS Lite is on sale for $89 while game deals include Halo: Reach for $35, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for $29.99, and a slew of games for $10 including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, God of War Collection, Ghost Recon 2, Killzone 2, inFamous and more.

Last but not least are a bunch of cheap HDTV deals. There’s a Samsung 52″ set for $998, a Vizio 37″ set for $378, an LG 42″ set for $478, and a Sony Bravia 46″ set (KDL-46EX400) for $698.
