A strange promotion popped up on Amazon.com over the past day or so, just in time for Christmas. The e-tailer has teamed up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to allow readers to choose the cover art for The Adventures of Baron Munchausen on Blu-ray Disc from three choices. Call it an unlikely stocking stuffer from the Blu-ray studio.
Fans of the flick, or those who can’t resist an opportunity to vote on something, can view and vote on one of the three designs on a special page at Amazon.com. You’ll want to be fast; the window to vote officially closes on December 27, at which time a winner will presumably appear on the same page.

Once you’ve put in your vote, you can see which design is currently on top. We’re not going to tell you. Go check it out for yourself!

It will include a Blu-ray exclusive Graphics & Picture Track, along with a Commentary with Director Terry Gilliam & Writer Charles McKeown; “The Madness and Misadventures of Munchausen”; “As We once Dreamed It” Afterthoughts by Terry Gilliam & Charles McKeown; “A Voyage to the Moon” Storyboard Sequence with Introduction by Terry Gilliam & Charles McKeown; “The Baron & Bucephalos Charge the Turkish Gates” Storyboard Sequence with Introduction by Terry & Charles; and Deleted Scenes.
