Vizio Announces Budget-Friendly XVT Series 3D HDTVs

At-home 3D viewing either over-the-air or via Blu-ray 3D became a lot more affordable today with Vizio’s unveiling of their much anticipated trio of XVT3D Series HDTVs, VBR Series Blu-ray 3D players and a wireless Internet router designed to work with the devices. The best part? These new entries into Vizio’s award-winning XVT series will be on stores shelves in time for Christmas.

The XVT3D 47″ and 55″ size sets (SRP $2399 and $1799, respectively) will offer TruLED backlighting with Smart Dimming while a 42″ set (SRP $1399) will feature Razor LED. All the sets feature built-in wi-fi with a Bluetooth remote and sliding QWERTY keypad, features not always found on more expensive sets.

Both the VBR333 and VBR334 3D Blu-ray Players are fully loaded with 7.1 audio support and wireless capabilities. They carry an SRP of $189.99 and will be out this month.

The XVT3D sets are now available online Amazon, Sams Club, Target and VIZIO’s websites. They will become available at other retailers beginning next month.

The 55″ XVT3D554SV model is already out of stock at Amazon.com but they are still taking orders with free shipping and will ship it when it comes back in stock. Click here to see its pricing or to order at Amazon.
