Remedy Games seized the opportunity to leverage the theatrical release of Max Payne, based on a game they conceived and developed, to tell the world Alan Wake is alive and kicking in spectacular fashion.
The only problem was the cinematic trailer pieced together was only shown theatrically in front of Max Payne in Finland leaving us here stateside wondering what we were missing.
Today Remedy overhauled their Alanwake.com website and simultaneously added the same cinematic Alan Wake trailer along with a handful of new screenshots. In a show of support for the game, it didn’t take long for traffic to the site to overwhelm Remedy’s servers and the trailer had to be removed.
We were able to download the trailer before it was pulled which you can watch below. Keep a close eye on a certain billboard for a website address and the bar/diner for a familiar person’s standee.
