Update 2: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has formally announced The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara will released on March 20 on Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray edition will be a three-disc set that includes the DVD and an UltraViolet digital copy. Bonus features and cover art have been added below.
Update: Amazon.com has updated their pre-order for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on Blu-ray with a March 20 release date. Full disc features should be available on Monday.
David Fincher’s Academy Award-nominated The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo does not have a Blu-ray and DVD release date yet, but it does have an active pre-order listing at Amazon.com.
Since going up for pre-order, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara on Blu-ray and DVD combo pack has managed to penetrate Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers chart which is updated hourly. It currently sites at the number 10 spot, but should begin marching up the chart as soon as more people become aware it’s available.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is expected to formally announce the release date and details for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo sometime this month. Right now a late March or April release date is looking likely.
