Ubisoft has announced Nitrobike has shipped to stores nationwide and will be on shelves as early as today exclusively for Nintendo Wii with an MSRP of $49.99.

Nitrobike is developed by Left Field Productions, the same studio responsible for Excitebike 64 for the Nintendo 64. In some respects, Nitrobike can be considered the next-gen evolution of the Excitebike series.
Nitrobike allows players to navigate rocket-propelled dirt bikes in an exciting arcade-style game. They can choose to race against the clock or worthy opponents ” Nitrobike features a multiplayer game mode as well as a unique online mode for up to six players.
