Ubisoft has announced the long awaited sequel to Far Cry, simply titled Far Cry 2, has gone gold and will brush its way into stores on October 21.
Ubisoft Montreal has created Far Cry 2 on a new engine with non-script enemy AI littered around a 50 square mile tract of land in Africa.
Within this land are completely destructible environments, dynamic storm and fire effects that have to be seen to be believed, and interactions with a variety of characters, many of whom’s alliance will be required.
Far Cry 2 will debut exclusively on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
