Update: There is a third added below (click to enlarge).
I have to give props to Warner’s creative team for the artwork chosen to appear on these first two one-sheet movie posters for the Clash of the Titans remake. After filling the first trailer with a pounding rock score that was anything but god-like, they made up for it with these little gems.
I half expected Warner to play it safe with imagery of Liam Neeson as Zeus or giant scorpions. Instead Perseus takes center stage in his two most iconic poses from the original: riding atop Pegasus and hoisting the severed head of Medusa into the air — no matter how much of a “spoiler” to newcomers it may be. I, and anyone who saw the original, immediately relate to both.
