Toys R Us is kicking off Black Friday 2012 a full four hours early when they open their doors at 8pm tonight and dish out numerous doorbusters. We’re interested in what they have on the gaming side, and as it turns out, there are some deals worth taking note of an possibly pursuing.
The doorbuster deal that pops out is for Wii U, Nintendo’s new console whose deals are scarce this holiday season given the console’s newness. At open, Toys R Us is offering a Wii U game at 40 percent off with the purchase of another game at full price. This BOGO will likely clean out the most popular Wii U titles, starting with New Super Mario Bros. U and ZombieU.
Toys R Us will be debuting a new Skylanders Giants exclusive figure tonight, Legendary Stealth Elf. To go along with the new exclusive, Toys R Us is offering $5 off the purchase of a Giants triple pack or battle pack with the purchase of Stealth Elf. That’s more than enough to cover tax and a little more.
As with all other retailers this Black Friday, Toys R Us will be selling the Playstation 3 bundle with inFamous and Uncharted for $199.99. They will also have a PS Vita bundle with Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified for the same price.
Numerous video games in different price ranges will be available as part of a buy one, get one for $1 deal. These deals include games on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and 3DS. Check your local Toys R Us store for which games and availability, as well as specific doorbusters that can vary slightly by store location. Again, Toys R Us opens tonight for Black Friday at 8pm local time.
