The Dark Knight Rises Cast Adds Two Men and a Little Lady

Shooting is already underway on The Dark Knight Rises but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still some smaller roles to fill out.

According to Variety, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti and Joey King have all joined Christopher Nolan’s third and final Batman film. In keeping with Nolan tradition, none of their roles are known other than Modine’s character being referred to as “Nixon.”

King is the most interesting addition of the three, an 11-year old actress who starred in Ramona and Beezus as well as appearing in Battle: Los Angeles. She joins 21-year old Juno Temple as characters that could possibly be associated with Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) in some way.

This news joins a flurry of activity surrounding the creation and promotion of The Dark Knight Rises. Earlier this week, Gotham City Police vehicles were being prepped for shooting in London, England. Yesterday, Warner Bros. kicked off a clever viral campaign via Twitter that ultimately revealed the first look at Tom Hardy as Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises will continue shooting in London and then move to Scotland and ultimate New York, Los Angeles and Pittsburgh.
