LucasArts has entrusted Entertaiment Weekly to run the exclusive launch trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, coming September 16 to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
The trailer was pieced together using mostly dramatic replay angles of scenes rendered from the in-game engine. While there are a lot of new expanded universe characters mixed in, a number of prequel characters like Bail Organa and Padme/Amidala have made the cut.
In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, players will assume the role of a Secret Apprentice to Darth Vader. The Force will be at the player’s disposal with power far beyond what was seen in the Star Wars films.
The Secret Apprentice character will also appear in Namco Bandai’s Soul Calibur IV game for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 alongside Darth Vader and Yoda. We’re giving away a couple copies and some swag which you can enter to win right here.
